On May 13, 2025, The Ambassador of Japan, H.E. Hiroshi Yoshimoto attended the closing ceremony of the “Emergency nutrition response in nine districts with the highest vulnerability to malnutrition and food insecurity in Sierra Leone (UNICEF)”and the opening ceremony of the” Emergency Nutrition, Health, and WASH response in five food and nutrition insecure districts in Sierra Leone (UNICEF)”. Funded by Japan, these projects help to improve prevention and treatment services of acute malnutrition for mothers and infants.
