Commissioning Ceremony of “The Project for Construction of Primary School and Sanitation Facilities in Kargbulor Village”

On 29 August, the commissioning ceremony of “The Project for Construction of Primary School and Sanitation Facilities in Kargbulor Village” was held with the representatives from the Embassy of Japan, Ministry of Education and the local government authorities including the Kambia District Council. By the Japanese funding of Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security(GGHSP), the local NGO “Self Help and Development Everywhere Sierra Leone (SHADE-Sierra Leone)” built 6 classroom school building and WASH facilities (water well and VIP latrine with handwashing station) for the Community Primary School Kargbulor, and they have been handed over to the school. Through this project we could achieve drastic improvement of school student’s learning environments and water accessibility for the communities.
