Signing Ceremony of the Grant Assistance for the Grass-Roots Human Security Projects
On the 1st of June 2023, Ambassador MOCHIZUKI attended a grant contract signing ceremony with representatives of Sustainable Urban and Rural Integrated Development Organization (SURIDO) in Monrovia. The Government of Japan provides its Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects (GGHSP) for construction of WASH facilities for 3 schools in Jorquelleh District in Bong County. The project will reduce absence of female students caused by lack of appropriate toilet facility, and provide water access for the inhabitants of the communities.
