Commissioning Ceremony of “The Project for Improvement of Cassava Processing Centre at Mile 91”

On 15th May, Ms. Kume, coordinator for Economic Cooperation, attended the commissioning ceremony of “The Project for Improvement of Cassava Processing Centre at Mile 91”. Through funding provided under the Japanese Government’s Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects (GGHSP), the local NGO Sierra Grass-roots Agency (SIGA) implemented the construction of an underground water storage system and the installation of a solar-powered gari fryer. The project is expected to enhance cassava processing capacity, improve productivity, and create income-generating opportunities for the local community.
