Japan Self-Defense Force–Ghana Air Force Defence Exchange

On 4 December, a C-2 transport aircraft of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF) made a port call at Kotoka International Airport, and a defence exchange was conducted between the JASDF and the Ghana Air Force. A command briefing was held at the Ghana Air Force Base in Burma Camp, where both sides exchanged views on their respective missions and force structures. This was followed by mutual aircraft visits, including inspections of the Ghana Air Force and the JASDF aircraft, enhancing mutual understanding of operational capabilities. The exchange provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen mutual trust and cooperation between Japan and Ghana.
